The Mount
A round brilliant held in four slim claws on a fine, softly rounded band.
The Mount is the ring most people picture when they think of an engagement ring, and that is the point. Four claws hold the stone high enough to catch light from the side, and low enough that it does not snag on knitwear. The band tapers slightly towards the setting so the diamond reads larger than its weight.
